Chennai City Civil Court, has issued a warrant against South actress Anjali on Thursday, September 12,
2013. It is said that the Anjali was asked to appear for the hearing of a defamation case, yesterday. The
warrant was issued by Magistrate Rajalakshmi as the actress was not present in the court even after
receiving the summons from the court. Anjali had filed a case against a director and her step mother
complaining of harassment. The pro-Tamil outfit, which is headed by director Kalanjiyam reverted by filing a
defamation case saying that the allegations were false. Anjali's absence for promotional events of Madha
Gaja Raja and dubbing for Telugu version of the movie, made the media to think that she is playing hide and
seek. According to unknown sources, Anjali has married a politician and settled in USA. However, the
actress rubbished all the rumours and said, "All the news about me not attending my film promotions, not

Masala, which is the remake of Bollywood movie Bol Bachchan.
